Chatfuel Bot Building Service for Your Business

If you're reading this article, chances are you’ve created your Shopify shop with the goal of making money. However, sales may not be growing as fast as you expected, which can be quite discouraging. But don't give up just yet! Instead, let's explore some effective strategies to increase sales on Shopify.

## How to increase sales: Shopify tricks

Below you can find 15 strategies that have already proven their efficiency.

### 1\. Leverage the power of social media marketing

Promotion of an eCommerce business is closely tied to your activity on social media platforms. Today Instagram is much more than just an app where you show your followers what you have eaten for lunch. It has been transformed into a splendid business tool. The platform is still focused on visual content which you can use to attract the attention of your potential customers. With around 2 billion active users per month, Instagram can allow you to reach absolutely different social and demographic groups.

Eye-catching posts, engaging stories, trendy Reels, cooperation with influencers…That’s only a couple of opportunities that you should try out to promote your brand awareness and boost sales on Shopify.

### 2\. Invest in paid advertising

Social media marketing goes much beyond targeting ads. But it’s important to tailor your paid ad campaigns to address the right people. Here you have freedom of choice. You can launch such campaigns on Facebook or Instagram (and in this case, you can be sure that your ads will be shown to those users who are most likely to buy your products). Or you can also pay for Google search and shopping ads. This will guarantee that your offers will top the search results.

### 3\. Boost sales on Shopify with AI automation

Advanced tools powered by Artificial Intelligence like Chatfuel can be of great use for eCommerce businesses. One of the highly promising AI use cases is automation for WhatsApp with integrated ChatGPT functionality. Just add a WhatsApp button to your Shopify store and observe how your conversion rates are increasing!

### 4\. Don’t forget about SEO

In 2024, search engine optimization (SEO) still rocks. It can drive traffic and let you see how to increase Shopify sales without investments in paid ads. With a row of valuable in-built settings, Shopify enables you to create SEO-friendly pages. And we highly recommend you use this chance.

Moreover, if you have a corporate blog, you definitely should use it to invite potential buyers to your Shopify store. In this case, you also shouldn’t forget about relevant keywords and main SEO principles that will allow your content to rank high on Google.

### 5\. Leverage influencer marketing

Today celebrities and popular bloggers have millions of followers on different platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Collaboration with them costs thousands of dollars. However, their ads do not always bring desired results. And you have another option if you are not ready to allocate huge budgets to such initiatives. You can hire micro-bloggers. Their services are cheaper but they can bring a very high ROI. We highly recommend you consider this strategy especially if you are interested in how to make a sale on Shopify in such niches as food, sports, or beauty.

### 6\. Create cool product pages with photos, videos, and descriptions

While looking for new ways of how to get sales, Shopify stores always need to provide shoppers with sufficient information on their products and their advantages. It is necessary to take appealing photos and videos from different sides and angles. People will have the possibility to see even the smallest details and make sure that the quality of your products fully corresponds to their descriptions. It would be amazing if the text contained not only boring specifications but also a story about your product.

### 7\. Offer free shipping

Maybe you will be surprised to see this advice among the tips on how to make sales on Shopify. However, “free shipping” is a phrase that has a magic impact on a purchase decision. Actually, the majority of online stores just include their expenses on shipping in product costs. But for customers, it is still pleasant to know that their products will be delivered for “free”. You can offer a free shipping option not for all orders but only for those that exceed a certain amount. Quite often this approach works as an incentive for customers to buy more in order to get such a bonus.

### 8\. How to make sales: Shopify cross-selling and upselling tactics

Every person who wants to know how to increase sales on Shopify should consider these two tactics: upsells and cross-sells. Cross-selling presupposes encouraging customers to buy complementary products. And upselling is focused on convincing people to upgrade their purchases. It can be done with the help of dropdown menu sections on product pages and various suggestion widgets.

### 9\. Introduce referral and loyalty programs

Customer loyalty programs are an integral part of word-of-mouth marketing. You need to transform your customers into your brand ambassadors. And their opinions quite often will have a more persuasive power than any paid ads. Moreover, special rewards and bonuses for making purchases or inviting friends will also help to increase customer retention.

### 10\. Don’t underestimate the value of UGC

User-generated content (UGC) plays a vital role in your business growth today. What can it be? For example, reviews written by your loyal customers, photos, and videos on Instagram that show how people use or wear your products in real life. Such things greatly help to create social trust in your brand. You can encourage buyers to create and post such content by offering them discount codes and other pleasant bonuses.

### 11\. Optimize your Shopify store for mobile platforms

To boost sales Shopify stores should go mobile. There are so many online shops today that people have no reason to use inconvenient or slow ones. Today a lot of people prefer to use their mobile devices to look for different products and place orders. And you should bear it in mind. A modern online store should look and feel good not only on PCs and laptops but also on different mobile devices.

### 12\. How to boost Shopify sales with wishlists

Quite often when people are surfing the net, they are not ready to make purchases at once. They are just looking through different offers (some kind of online window shopping) without any specific goal. But what if they decide to place an order later? Where can they find your store? To address this issue, you can provide people with an option to add products to their wishlists. This will also let them subscribe to your email updates and stay in contact with you to make purchases later when it is comfortable for them.

### 13\. Minimize cart abandonment

Today the card abandonment rate is close to 70%. Just imagine, that in 7 out of 10 cases, customers just drop off during the shopping process. But you can try to change the game by introducing retargeting ads and reminder emails. Moreover, it is vital to make the checkout process straightforward. It will help you to be sure that people do not leave your checkout page without paying just because they can’t understand how to do it.

### 14\. Shopify: boost sales with an out-of-stock waitlist

It’s very sad when you lose customers because the products that they like are out of stock. Of course, you can just put an Out-of-stock tag on the product and hope that a person will return later. But it is not the best decision. You can offer users to fill in the form and indicate their email addresses so that you can notify them when the product is available again.

### 15\. Don’t forget about SMS marketing

Somebody may say that it is a very old-fashioned approach but it still works. The open rates of SMS are surprisingly high. On average, it is close to 98% across different age groups. Studies demonstrated that conversion rates generated by SMS are 10-15 times higher than by email marketing campaigns. So, if you are wondering how to get more sales on Shopify, just try to launch an SMS campaign!

## Instead of a closing word

While trying to understand how to get sales Shopify stores shouldn’t implement all the available marketing strategies at once. Moreover, not all of them are universal. To make a decision on whether you need to try out this or that approach, you should consider its efficiency in relation to your products and your target audience.

However, such solutions as AI-powered automation will be relevant for any eCommerce business. If you have never used any tools of this kind, you can start doing that without any financial investments. 15 ways of how to increase sales on Shopify

Some may wonder why companies would need salespeople if their products are really that mind-blowingly amazing. Well, we cannot vouch for others, but at Chatfuel, our sales executive conveys our product's awesomeness to customers and makes them go "Wow!".

Meet Kyle, our Sales Executive. In his interview, he talks about a book that changed his life and shares inspiring stories about his journey at Chatfuel. He also provides a couple of tips to efficiently balance work from home with life outside of work. Dive right in!

### 1\. What was your initial experience with chatbots, and what drew you to this field?

Honestly, I had pretty much zero experience with chatbots when I joined Chatfuel almost 5 years ago. I of course had used them as a consumer, but had never explored this rapidly growing industry from a professional standpoint. My previous experience was in SaaS sales but not with chatbots or AI.

### 2\. In your opinion, what are the key features and advantages of our chatbots that are crucial for successful sales?

What I really love about our platform is that anyone can learn how to build and deploy successful chatbot funnels. We're a no-code platform, so beginners can leverage our solution. At the same time, we have open APIs that allow experienced developers to create complex integrations and cool user experiences. We also offer very affordable self-service plan options and enterprise plans. However, we don't require any long-term contracts or commitments from our customers. Now, having our ChatGPT integration built into the product, which is fully customizable and available at no additional cost, is a game-changer!

### 3\. How do you successfully replenish and maintain resources within a demanding schedule, including hobbies and passions? How do you manage your work-life balance?

I'm more productive working from home, so Chatfuel was a great fit in that sense. I'm locked in Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm but try to stay away from my computer outside of normal work hours or on the weekends. I don't even have my email account connected on my phone, but I do have Slack in case any emergencies arise and are needed.

While working, I always try to complete my most important tasks first each day, even if they are the more complex tasks that I'm dreading getting started on. I learned this years ago after reading a book called "Eat that Frog," which changed my life, and I highly recommend reading it if you haven't already.

### 4\. How do you perceive the alignment of corporate values with your day-to-day work in chatbot sales?

Our corporate values must be aligned with our sales team, as we are frontline employees communicating with our potential customers on a daily basis. Integrity is the most critical to me personally because I must clearly understand your business needs and the problems you are trying to solve by implementing chatbot automation before I can recommend our services to you. We must promote transparency in communication regarding both the capabilities and limitations of our platform.

### 5\. What specifically about our company inspires or appeals to you the most?

The people! We have such a diverse group of professionals from all around the world who work so well together. This is the first startup I’ve ever worked for, and being able to have a voice in the direction of the company and to be valued even as an individual contributor is very rewarding. Being able to adapt to change and adjust to new approaches is key. Lastly, I’m grateful that we have such a strong leadership team here at Chatfuel.

### 6\. What advice would you offer to new employees for more successful integration into the corporate environment?

Don't be afraid to speak up! In a startup environment, everyone is critical to the company's success. Whether you have new ideas, want to question current processes, or maybe just aren't sure how something works, please reach out to your colleagues or supervisor. Everyone is here to help.

That's a wrap on our chat with Kyle, but we have more interviews lined up with other members of the Chatfuel team, each ready to share their unique insights and experiences. Stay tuned for the next episode of our interview series!

In our interview series, we introduce you to the people behind Chatfuel who make things happen. Some may wonder why companies would need salespeople if their.

Recent statistics on eCommerce marketplaces claim that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is actively applied to create personalized eCommerce experiences for customers as well as drive sales. It’s confirmed that [in 2023 over 50% of eCommerce businesses](https://khrisdigital.com/ai-in-e-commerce-statistics/) adopted AI technologies, including AI chatbots to boost operations. The growing trend of applying AI technologies, including AI chatbots, to create personalized eCommerce experiences and drive sales in the eCommerce industry is expected to continue. If your business is built on the Shopify eCommerce platform, it’s high time to apply a Shopify chatbot integration to drive your sales smartly.

## What is a Shopify chatbot?

A Shopify chatbot is a special software deployed to the Shopify eCommerce platform that imitates human conversation and fulfills the major functions of the customer service team. Nowadays, chatbots for Shopify are not limited to a website only, they can provide multi-channel experiences. Their strong side is to instantly get access to clients’ databases and information gathered from several resources. Thus, Shopify chatbots significantly level up customer service by providing meaningful data to the right person at the right time.

## Chatbot VS AI chatbot: difference

In one of our previous posts, we explained the [difference between traditional chatbots and AI chatbots](https://chatfuel.com/blog/conversational-ai). Anyway, the topic is important and it’s worth stressing some of the most important points one more time. AI chatbots are more advanced than traditional rule-based chatbots. They are capable of handling complex queries and their replies are more elaborate and human-like. For example, Chatfuel, a conversational AI chatbot can remember the previous experiences of chatbot-human interaction and use this data to personalize communication. Traditional chatbots cannot perform such a function.

## How to choose the Shopify chatbot app?

Choosing the right tool for your platform is halfway to success. Before committing to one of the Shopify chatbot services a business owner has to do the research. The brand’s values, goals, customer preferences, and expectations should be taken into consideration. Also, there are simple rules that one might follow to choose the right Shopify chatbot.

1. Determine what are the goals of Shopify chatbot integration: increase sales, improve customer support, streamline operations, etc.

2. Visit the Shopify App Store and research what are the available Shopify chatbot apps to comply with your requirements.

3. Find the perfect balance between pricing and features. Make sure that your AI chatbot for Shopify provides all the vital integrations, can transfer chats to human agents, and offers multichannel functionality.

4. Go for a free trial with a Shopify chatbot and see how compatible it is with your platform.

5. After you make up your mind and commit to one of the Shopify chatbot apps, keep optimizing it through constant analyzing and monitoring its interaction with customers.

## How Shopify AI chatbot can improve your business?

Based on the fact that a Shopify chatbot is the software that simulates and processes human conversation it has several superpowers. One of them is that Shopify AI chatbots may have multiple conversations at the same time with different customers. Secondly, the waiting time for a reply is significantly shorter. Thirdly, chatbots are incredibly accurate. There is almost zero chance that a chatbot makes a mistake and provides customers with faulty information.

Chatfuel at its core: Employee Value Proposition

AI agents are ready-to-use employees designed to help you boost sales and rapidly expand teams. They are not your typical bots—agents can fulfill complete roles instead of just automating functions.

Each agent performs specific business roles:

1. **First-line support agent**

2. **SDR for lead qualification**

3. **E-commerce sales associate**

4. **Pre-sales manager for the education sector**

Consider AI agents as your junior employees who, if trained properly, can become your top performers. To train an agent, provide it with the context of your business and clients.

Product update: meet AI agents

Life coaching has seen massive growth in the last five years. According to the ICF, it has grown by 54% since 2019. With such a big jump, competition soars.

But how to stay ahead of this competition? AI tools and automation can help life coaches to free time by taking over tasks like admin, content creation, invoicing, or note taking.

Another interesting statistic is that [approximately 99% of life coaches are freelancers](https://gitnux.org/life-coaching-statistics/#:~:text=Life%20coaching%20can%20result%20in,in%20the%20past%20five%20years.) and SMEs. On my website, [www.aitoolssme.com](https://www.aitoolssme.com), I review AI tools for small businesses so my busy audience doesn’t waste time experimenting with what works.

From personal experience, I know how life-changing coaching can be. I worked with my coach [Maja](https://majameglic.com/) for three years on and off. During this time, I transitioned from an event manager to a successful marketer, with a nice side effect: gaining more confidence and developing a better money mindset.

To return the favor, I’ve put together a compact list of the five best AI tools for life coaches, leading with a mission and recommending the best products. I’m going much beyond ChatGPT because I assume it has been part of your toolbox for a while now.

## 1\. AI chatbots

Getting too many customer inquiries might sound like a luxurious problem. Still, it’s one we all would rather have than not. A bot could handle many questions efficiently and instantly. This is where Chatfuel comes in.

[Chatfuel’s AI chatbots](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com/sign-up?utm_medium=chatfuel&utm_source=blog&utm_campaign=ai-tools-for-coaches) support coaches in communication via WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram and engage with customers in a personalized and convenient way. Resolving customer issues reduces churn because people feel valued and attended to.

**Free version:** free for up to 50 users, no credit card is required for the sign-up.

## 2\. AI bookkeeping software

New AI bookkeeping software does a lot more than just helping with finances. Today, they provide a whole range of templates for contracts, invoices, quotes, etc., and automation does its magic in the background.

[Bonsai](https://www.hellobonsai.com/?fp_ref=lili11) is specifically tailored to freelancers and SMEs and understands their target audience perfectly. My favorite feature is the automated invoice reminder (who wants to spend time on that?)

**Free version:** 14-day free trial.

## 3\. AI CRM

If the lead generation machinery works well, a life coach should have a pool of potential customers. From my former coach, Maja, I know that the conversion window from first contact to becoming a customer can be quite long. It makes sense to check in with potential clients regularly to stay on top of their minds, even if the time isn’t right yet.

[Folk](https://www.folk.app/?via=11e091) is the slimmest and simplest CRM AI version I could find now. Many systems are very elaborate and offer too many features, handling them can feel like walking through a maze. Folk is pretty simple, but remember that even the CRM is only as good as the input it receives.

**Free version:** free for up to 200 contacts.

## 4\. Social media assistants

Social media is a very relevant but time-consuming channel for client acquisition. New AI tools can create images and copy them at the same time. They lure us in with their extensive library of royalty-free pictures and the promise to never have to search for images again.

For example, [AdCreative.AI](https://www.adcreative.ai) generates 100 versions of each assignment right away so that you can choose and use your favorite. On top of that, this AI social media assistant offers a 500€ sign-on credit for Google Ads to new customers — that’s a generous offer.

**Free version:** 7-day free trial including ten credits (e.g., for background remover.)

## 5\. AI virtual assistants

I remember Maja scribbling a whole lot during our sessions back then. Imagine how much more coaches could focus on their customers if they didn’t have to jot things down.

This is exactly what [fireflies.ai](https://fireflies.ai) does: taking meeting notes, making a transcription, and even sending you a meeting summary.

I’ve tested [Fireflies.ai](http://Fireflies.ai) for my meetings and was surprised at how well it understood the conversation. If unsure about the outcome of a specific topic, the handy search function of this AI virtual assistant will lead directly to the answer.

**Free version:** one transcription monthly and a 7-day free trial for pro and business plan.

These apps allow coaches to reach a larger audience. By automating certain aspects of the coaching process, these tools can provide personalized coaching to a large number of individuals simultaneously.

This ability to scale allows coaches to grow their coaching business significantly. The real-time feedback provided by the AI assistant ensures that each individual's learning experience is optimized.

## Set up your success in coaching with AI

These tools serve as an AI assistant, improving learning experience. As a result, coaching becomes more effective, helping people learn more efficiently.

These five AI tools for coaches should equip you to focus more on your customers and strategic decisions regarding your business. Some of the tools require a bit more attention from your side to work properly (e.g., CRM); some will get to work right away for you.

But one thing is sure: AI for coaches will help set you up for success in the long run so that you don’t need to be afraid of the competition.

Discover the 5 best AI tools for coaches in 2024. Automate client management, streamline scheduling, and grow your coaching business faster.

5 Best AI Tools for Coaches to Scale Business

In this article, we’ll show you how to increase eCommerce sales for your store by using sales automation with Chatfuel and ChatGPT.

We’ll show you how to leverage WhatsApp for your business with a step-by-step guide on how to set it all up. The goal is to get you prepared for an influx of customers, making sure that you maximize your sales while reducing the workload on your team at the same time.

Let’s get started.

## The setup guide

### 1\. Connect your WhatsApp number to Chatfuel

To do this, you will first need to [**log in to your Chatfuel account**](https://dashboard.chatfuel.com/sign-up?utm_medium=chatfuel&utm_source=blog&utm_campaign=automate-sales-ChatGPT).

We strongly recommend using a new number for the WhatsApp + Chatfuel integration. This is because a phone number connected to Chatfuel can’t be already in use in other WhatsApp Business accounts, the WhatsApp application, or with the WhatsApp Business application.

This is what we call an ‘Entry Point’ at Chatfuel. It’s the way that users enter your flow. Or, in your case, how users enter the ChatGPT-powered template you duplicated above. Follow the steps below for this final stage of the setup.

1. Click on the WhatsApp entry point in your template.

2. Open the settings by clicking on the content in the block.

In the top left corner, copy the code, which you can paste into your website’s HTML.
