Payment links sent right in the chat
Your AI Agent sends your Stripe, PayPal, or Square link the moment a customer is ready to pay, then checks the receipt they send back. Customers pay on your provider’s page, and unclear receipts go to your team.

What are payment links in chat?
A payment link is a URL from your payment provider, like Stripe, PayPal, or Square, that opens a page where the customer pays. In Chatfuel, the AI Agent sends your link in the chat at the moment you choose, for example after the customer picks a service or confirms an order.
Chatfuel doesn’t process payments: the customer pays on your provider’s page, with the payment tool your business already uses. If you take bank transfers or mobile payments instead, the AI Agent shares your payment details and checks the photo or screenshot of the receipt the customer sends.

Payment links FAQ
Links from your payment provider that the AI Agent sends in the chat when a customer is ready to pay. You add the link and the moment to send it in your automation’s Additional instructions, and the customer pays on your provider’s page.
Any provider that gives you a shareable payment link: Stripe, PayPal, Square, or another tool your business already works with. Paste the link into the instruction; there’s nothing to connect in Chatfuel.
No. Chatfuel has no built-in payment gateway, and you can’t connect Stripe, PayPal, or another payment processor to it directly. The AI Agent shares your payment link or details and checks receipts, but it can’t charge customers.
It can check the receipt. The customer sends a photo or screenshot of the payment in the chat, and the AI Agent reviews it and moves the conversation forward, for example by confirming the order or booking. In Additional instructions, tell it what a valid receipt looks like and what to do when the check succeeds or fails.
The AI Agent can ask the customer to send it again or hand the chat to your team. Add a Switch to human rule for receipts that can’t be verified, and assign it to a teammate if you want one person to handle them.
Yes. Add each link to the item’s description in your Catalog, or list separate links per service in the instruction. The AI Agent sends the link that matches what the customer picked.
