Meta Muse connects to Chatfuel through the Chatfuel connector in Muse's connector list. You pick Chatfuel in Muse, sign in with your Chatfuel account, and then ask Muse to set up and run your Fuely AI agent in the Muse app on iOS and Android or on the web at muse.ai.

What is Meta Muse?

Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. Muse doesn't only answer questions: it takes actions for you in the apps you connect. Connectors appear in Muse's settings after Meta reviews them, and Chatfuel is one of them. Behind the Chatfuel connector is the Chatfuel MCP server https://mcp.chatfuel.com/panel.

How to connect Chatfuel in Muse

  1. In Muse, open Settings → Connectors and pick Chatfuel.
  2. On the Chatfuel sign-in page, sign in and approve Muse. Turn on Read-only if Muse should only look at your account.
  3. Tell Muse what you need in your own words, in the app or at muse.ai.

What can Muse do with Chatfuel?

Muse uses the same Chatfuel tools as other assistants on the /panel link:

  • Turn on Fuely AI for your connected channels, after your OK.
  • Add prices, hours and rules to the Knowledge Base.
  • Change how the AI replies, for example a warmer tone, answers around the clock, or complaints sent to your team.
  • Set up comment replies: a public reply and a DM on Instagram and Facebook, and keyword replies on TikTok.
  • Review recent chats, find the ones nobody answered and the questions missing from the FAQ.
  • Add bookable services, prices and specialists so customers can book in chat.

The full list is in Chatfuel MCP tools and playbooks.

What can I ask Muse?

Examples:

  • "What did customers ask today?"
  • "Turn on the AI for Instagram."
  • "Add our holiday hours to the FAQ."
  • "DM everyone who comments 'price'."
  • "Why didn't the bot answer last night?"
  • "Add a haircut: 45 minutes, $30."

More requests are in Chatfuel MCP example prompts. An overview of Muse with Chatfuel is on chatfuel.com/mcp/muse.

Common issues

Will Muse see everything in my account?

Muse works with the same permissions as your Chatfuel account, for the bots you have access to. To let Muse only look, turn on Read-only when you sign in. To stop access, revoke it in Connected apps in the Chatfuel dashboard, as described in Chatfuel MCP sign-in, read-only access and CLI token.

What can't Muse do in Chatfuel?

Muse can't show or edit Flows, send broadcasts, turn the AI off for all channels, manage teammates, change your plan or delete bots. Do those in the Chatfuel dashboard.
