Can the Bot Send Scheduled Follow-Ups?

Yes — Fuely AI automatically follows up with customers who stop responding.

Yes — Fuely AI automatically follows up with customers who stop responding. You don't need to schedule anything manually: enable follow-ups on an automation and the bot handles the rest.

How It Works

When a customer goes quiet during an active conversation, Fuely AI sends two follow-up messages to nudge them back. The timing is automatic — Fuely AI decides when to send each follow-up based on the conversation context, and you cannot set a custom delay or schedule.

What the follow-ups say is up to you: each automation has a follow-up message prompt you can edit, so different sources can nudge customers in different ways.

Set it up in Automations

  1. Go to Fuely AIAutomations.
  2. Open the automation for the channel or post you want (or Main bot to change it everywhere).
  3. Open the Follow-ups setting, turn it on, and adjust the message prompt if you like.

See How to Set Up Follow-Ups for the full walkthrough.

Or ask the AI Co-Worker

Tell it what you want in chat:

"Turn on follow-ups for customers who stop replying."

It applies the change and confirms what it set.

Good to Know

  • Follow-ups work on all connected channels — WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and website.
  • You can enable follow-ups everywhere via Main bot, or only on some sources.
  • On WhatsApp, follow-ups only go out within the 24-hour messaging window. If the window has closed, use re-engage messages instead.
  • If a human agent takes over the conversation, follow-ups stop automatically.
