How to Change the Business Name on Your WhatsApp QR Code

When you generate a WhatsApp QR code through Chatfuel (links like wa.chatfuel.com/yourbusiness), the QR code page displays the business name associated with your WhatsApp account. If you've rebranded or registered a different company since setting up your account, that old name may still appear on the QR code.

Can I change the name on the QR code?

Not yet. Chatfuel does not currently support editing the business name shown on your WhatsApp QR code page. This feature is in development and will be available in a future update.

What you can do now

While the QR code page name cannot be changed yet, you can update other parts of your WhatsApp Business identity:

• Display name — the name customers see inside WhatsApp conversations can be changed through WhatsApp Manager. This is separate from the name shown on the QR code page.
• Profile photo — you can update your WhatsApp Business profile photo at any time.

What is the QR code page?

Chatfuel generates a shareable link (e.g. wa.chatfuel.com/yourbusiness) that opens a page with a QR code. When someone scans it or clicks the link, it starts a WhatsApp conversation with your business. The page shows the business name that was associated with your account when the QR code was created.
