How to add a WhatsApp Business profile photo

A profile photo is not required for a WhatsApp Business account. However, it is highly recommended — it increases trust in your business and raises customer engagement with your profile. Along with choosing the right display name, a profile photo is one of the first things customers notice.

Adding a profile photo

1. Open WhatsApp Manager, then click on the phone number title.

2. Open the settings next to your number.

3. Click Choose file and upload your photo.

• Square image
• Minimum resolution: 640×640 px
• Max file size: 5 MB
• File format: PNG, JPG (recommended)
