Why it works this way
Chat history is part of the contact's record and is used by Fuely AI to maintain context across conversations. Clearing it would break AI continuity and remove valuable sales context from your Leads pipeline.
What you can do instead
- Close the live chat to mark the conversation as finished and stop AI from responding. When the contact messages again, a new interaction begins — but previous history stays accessible.
- If you need to start fresh with a contact from AI's perspective, update the contact's lead stage or attributes rather than clearing the chat.
