Yes — Google Calendar sync works perfectly fine with two-factor authentication enabled on your Google account. You do not need to disable 2FA to connect your calendar.

How the connection works

Chatfuel connects to Google Calendar using OAuth, Google's standard secure sign-in method. When you link your Google account, you sign in through Google's own login page and grant Chatfuel permission to access your calendar. This process fully supports 2FA — you'll simply complete your usual second verification step (authenticator app, SMS code, or security key) during sign-in, just like logging into any other service.

Once connected, the sync stays active. You won't need to re-authenticate every time.

What you need to do

1. Open Google Calendar settings in Chatfuel.
2. Generate a connection link for the specialist and open it.
3. Sign in to your Google account — complete your 2FA prompt as usual.
4. Grant Chatfuel permission to read your calendar.

That's it. Your Google Calendar events will sync into your Chatfuel Calendar. The sync is one-way: bookings created in Chatfuel do not appear in Google Calendar.
