No — Chatfuel only syncs with your primary Google Calendar. Secondary calendars (additional calendars you create or subscribe to in Google Calendar) are not supported.
Why only the primary calendar
When you connect your Google Calendar, Chatfuel reads availability and writes new bookings to your primary calendar. The integration does not have access to secondary or shared calendars. This means:
- Bookings created in Calendar appear only in your primary Google Calendar
- Availability checks only look at events on your primary calendar
- Events from secondary calendars are not visible to Chatfuel and won't block time slots
Workaround
If you use a secondary calendar for your business schedule, you can move those events to your primary calendar so they sync with Chatfuel. In Google Calendar:
- Open the event on your secondary calendar.
- Click Edit (pencil icon).
- Change the Calendar dropdown to your primary calendar.
- Click Save.
For new events, make sure to create them on your primary calendar so they sync automatically.
FAQ
Will secondary calendar support be added?
There is no confirmed timeline for secondary calendar support. For now, use your primary calendar for all bookings you want synced with Chatfuel.
What if I have multiple team members with different calendars?
Each specialist in Chatfuel has their own working hours configured in Calendar settings. Google Calendar sync applies to the connected Google account's primary calendar — it does not pull from individual team members' Google accounts.
