If you need to confirm whether your WhatsApp number has been released from the API, you can check it directly in Meta Business Settings.
How to check

Click on the WhatsApp Business Account that was connected to your number.

Go to Phone numbers inside that account.

If your number still appears in the list, it has not been released yet.

If your number is not in the list, it has been successfully released.
