How to Train Fuely AI From Claude or ChatGPT

Ask an assistant connected to Chatfuel MCP to add FAQ, company details, instructions and business hours to Fuely AI, then test the reply in a sandbox chat.

Last updated on

An AI assistant connected to the Chatfuel MCP server can fill in what Fuely AI knows about your business: FAQ, company details, instructions and business hours. You paste the facts into the chat, the assistant adds them to the Knowledge Base after your yes, and then it tests how the bot answers.

What can the assistant add to the Knowledge Base?

  • FAQ: up to 20 questions and answers at a time. Questions already in the FAQ are skipped.
  • Company details: name, email, phone, address, website and how to pay.
  • Instructions: rules the AI keeps to in every reply, such as topics to avoid.
  • Business hours: the weekly hours the AI tells customers.

The assistant writes only the facts you give it. It doesn't read your website by itself, so paste the text or a price list into the chat. What each field does is in how to set up the Knowledge Base.

How to add facts

Write the request in your own words:

  • "Add a FAQ: 'Do you deliver on Sundays?' — 'No, we deliver Monday to Saturday.'"
  • "Our company is now called Sunny Bakery & Cafe. Update it and set our phone to +1 555 0100."
  • "We're open Monday to Friday 9:00–19:00. Saturday and Sunday we're closed."

Before replacing company details, instructions or business hours, the assistant shows what changes and asks for a yes. Business hours use the bot's timezone.

How to change the AI's tone and rules

Tone, language, greeting, reply length and what to say when unsure belong to the Main bot prompt, not to the instructions. Ask, for example, "Make the AI warmer and shorter, and always reply in the customer's language." The assistant changes the prompt after your yes. Always/never rules, such as "Never promise delivery dates", go to the instructions.

How to test what the AI answers

After a change, ask "Check how my bot answers a customer asking 'Do you deliver on Sundays?'". The assistant sends that message to a sandbox chat and shows the bot's reply. No real customer gets messages, and the test waits up to 30 seconds for the reply. More ways to test are in how to test your automation.

How to find what's missing from the FAQ

Ask "Look at my recent chats and list the questions the FAQ doesn't cover." The assistant reviews real chats and proposes FAQ entries. You give the answers, and it adds them one at a time after your yes. The assistant doesn't invent facts, prices or numbers.

Common issues

The sandbox shows only typing

AI replies need a working plan and the Main bot turned on. Ask the assistant "Why doesn't my bot reply?" to see which one is missing.

The assistant added an FAQ, but the bot still answers the old way

Test again in a new sandbox message, and check that no older FAQ entry or instruction says the opposite. Ask the assistant to show the Knowledge Base and remove the outdated entry.
