If you need to confirm whether your WhatsApp number has been released from the API, you can check it directly in Meta Business Settings.

1. Open [Meta Business Settings](https://business.facebook.com/latest/settings/whatsapp_account) and go to **Accounts** → **WhatsApp accounts**. 2. Click on the WhatsApp Business Account that was connected to your number.

3. Go to **Phone numbers** inside that account.

4. If your number still appears in the list, it has **not** been released yet.

5. If your number is **not** in the list, it has been successfully released.
