You can customize the icon (logo) that appears inside the chat when the widget is open, but the closed widget button always uses the default Chatfuel icon — this cannot be changed.

## What you can customize [#what-you-can-customize]

When a visitor opens the [chat widget](https://chatfuel.com/docs/website/set-up-chat-widget-for-website), they see your business icon in the chat header. To change it:

1. Go to `Settings` > `Website`.
2. Upload your company logo or icon in the appearance section.
3. Save the changes.

This icon represents your business inside the conversation and helps visitors recognize who they're chatting with.

## What you cannot customize [#what-you-cannot-customize]

The small chat button that appears in the corner of your website (the closed/minimized widget) always displays the default Chatfuel icon. There is currently no option to replace it with a custom image or your own logo.

This applies to all plans — the closed widget icon is the same for everyone.
