# How to switch your TikTok account to a Business one

You need a TikTok Business account to connect to Chatfuel and use all automation features.

If your TikTok is currently set to personal, follow these steps to switch.

## Steps to switch your account [#steps-to-switch-your-account]

1. Tap on the **menu icon** in your TikTok application.
2. Choose **Settings and privacy**.
3. Select **Account**.
4. Select **Switch to Business Account**.
5. Skip through the promo screens by tapping **Next**.
6. Pick a **category** for your business and tap **Next**.
7. Add your **email** (optional).
8. Tap **Register now** to register your Business account.
9. Done. Your account is now switched to Business and you can use all automation features.

> **Note:** Switching to a Business account won't affect your content, followers, or messages.
