No. TikTok does not allow sending direct messages triggered by comments.

No. TikTok does not allow sending direct messages triggered by comments. This is a TikTok platform restriction, not a Chatfuel limitation — which is why TikTok comment [automations](https://chatfuel.com/docs/ai-features/automations) have a **Public reply** only, with no private-reply setting.

When someone comments on your video, you can only **reply publicly under that comment** using [TikTok comment autoreply](https://chatfuel.com/docs/tiktok/tiktok-comment-autoreply).

On Instagram and Facebook, a comment automation can send both a **Public reply** under the comment and a **Private reply** in DMs. On TikTok, the API does not allow this — a contact must message you directly first before you can send them a DM.
