# How to Change Chat Filters

Currently, it's not possible to rename, add, or remove chat filters in Chatfuel.

## Can I rename or customize chat filters? [#can-i-rename-or-customize-chat-filters]

Currently, it's not possible to rename, add, or remove chat filters in Chatfuel. The Live Chat section uses a fixed set of filters to organize your conversations.

We've already forwarded this request to the Chatfuel team. They will review it and work on making customizable filters available as soon as possible.

## Default chat filters [#default-chat-filters]

The Live Chat comes with built-in filters that help you sort conversations:

* **All** — every conversation across all statuses
* **Assigned to me** — chats assigned to you
* **Unassigned** — chats not yet assigned to anyone
* **Assigned to...** — chats assigned to a specific teammate

These are the same filters available in the [Leads](https://chatfuel.com/docs/leads/leads) pipeline view.

## What you can do right now [#what-you-can-do-right-now]

While custom filters aren't available yet, you can still organize your chats effectively:

* **Use the existing filters** to quickly find conversations that need your attention
* **Assign chats** to yourself or [teammates](https://chatfuel.com/docs/account/how-to-add-teammates) to keep things organized
* **Move leads between stages** on the Leads board to reflect where each conversation stands
* **[Close chats](https://chatfuel.com/docs/leads/how-to-close-live-chat)** when they're resolved to keep your inbox clean
