# How to Cancel Your Subscription or Trial

You can cancel your Chatfuel subscription or free trial at any time from the Billing section of your account.

> **Note:** Cancelling a subscription is one of the few steps the AI Co-Worker can't complete for you — you confirm the cancellation yourself in **Billing** → **Manage billing**. The Co-Worker can check your subscription status and take you straight to the right page: just ask.

## Steps to cancel [#steps-to-cancel]

1. Click **Billing** in the left navigation bar.
2. Click **Manage billing**.
3. Click **Cancel subscription**.

## What happens after cancellation [#what-happens-after-cancellation]

* Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — you won't lose access immediately.
* Once the period ends, your account reverts to the free Trial limits.
