## How to start the trial [#how-to-start-the-trial]

When you see the [paywall screen](https://chatfuel.com/docs/billing/why-do-i-see-a-paywall), enter your card details to activate the trial. There is no charge upfront — your card is only billed after the 7 days end.

## What happens after 7 days [#what-happens-after-7-days]

* If you keep your subscription, the [plan you picked](https://chatfuel.com/docs/billing/chatfuel-plans-and-pricing) starts and your card is charged automatically.
* If you [cancel before the trial ends](https://chatfuel.com/docs/billing/how-to-cancel-subscription-or-trial), you won't be charged at all.
* If you cancel after the trial, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then your account reverts to the free Trial limits.
