# How to Manage Uploaded Company Information

During registration, you may have uploaded files (PDFs, documents, images) with information about your business.

During registration, you may have uploaded files (PDFs, documents, images) with information about your business. Chatfuel doesn't store those files as downloadable documents. Instead, the information from your files is extracted and saved directly into your [Knowledge Base](https://chatfuel.com/docs/ai-features/how-to-set-up-knowledge-base) — the structured data that powers [Fuely AI](https://chatfuel.com/docs/ai-features/what-is-fuely-ai).

This means all the data from your uploaded files already lives in one of three Knowledge Base sections: **About**, **Catalog**, or **FAQ**. The Knowledge Base holds business facts — what the AI knows. How the AI behaves on each channel is configured separately, in [Automations](https://chatfuel.com/docs/ai-features/automations).

## Manage it in the Knowledge Base [#manage-it-in-the-knowledge-base]

### Where to find your data [#where-to-find-your-data]

To view the information that was extracted from your files, go to **Knowledge Base** in the left sidebar. Your data is organized across three sections:

* **About** — company name, contacts, business hours, address, website, payment options, and any additional business details.
* **Catalog** — your products or services with descriptions and pricing.
* **FAQ** — common questions and answers about your business.

Everything you uploaded during registration was distributed into these sections based on the type of information it contained.

### How to edit or update your data [#how-to-edit-or-update-your-data]

Since all information is stored as structured data in the Knowledge Base, you can edit it directly:

1. Go to **Knowledge Base** in the left sidebar.
2. Open the section you want to update (**About**, **Catalog**, or **FAQ**).
3. Edit any field — change text, update prices, fix business hours, or rewrite answers.
4. Changes are saved and take effect immediately. Fuely AI will start using the updated information in new conversations.

### How to delete information [#how-to-delete-information]

To remove information that was imported from your files:

1. Go to **Knowledge Base** in the left sidebar.
2. Find the entry you want to remove — whether it's a catalog item, an FAQ entry, or a detail in the About section.
3. Delete the entry or clear the field.

For example, if your uploaded file contained a product you no longer sell, find it in **Catalog** and delete that item.

## Or ask the AI Co-Worker [#or-ask-the-ai-co-worker]

Tell it what you want in chat:

*"Delete the old price list info from my knowledge base."*

*"Update my business hours in the knowledge base."*

It applies the change and confirms what it set.

## Can I re-upload files? [#can-i-re-upload-files]

You can add new information to the Knowledge Base at any time by editing the sections directly. There is no need to re-upload files — simply type or paste the updated information into the relevant section. This gives you more control over how your data is organized and what Fuely AI knows about your business.

## Tips [#tips]

* Review your Knowledge Base after registration to make sure the extracted data is accurate and complete.
* If something from your original files is missing, add it manually to the appropriate section.
* Keep your Knowledge Base up to date — Fuely AI can only work with the information you provide. See the [definitive setup guide](https://chatfuel.com/docs/ai-features/how-to-set-up-ai-the-definitive-guide) for best practices on maintaining your Knowledge Base.
