# How to Configure Photo Sending Settings

You can control whether and how Fuely AI sends product photos from your catalog during a conversation.

You can control whether and how Fuely AI sends product photos from your catalog during a conversation. Two settings under **Automations** decide how many images the AI sends per product and at what moment it shares them.

## Where to find the settings [#where-to-find-the-settings]

1. Go to **Fuely AI** → **Automations**.
2. Find the **Images per product** and **When Fuely AI shows images** controls.
3. Adjust both settings to fit your business.
4. Save your changes.

Like every automation setting, this one is inherited from **Main bot** unless you override it — change it on Main bot to apply everywhere, or on one source's automation for just that source.

## Or ask the AI Co-Worker [#or-ask-the-ai-co-worker]

Tell it what you want in chat:

*"Send up to three photos per product as soon as a product is mentioned."*

It applies the change and confirms what it set.

## Images per product [#images-per-product]

Choose how many photos the AI can send for a single product — **None**, or any number from **1 to 10**.

This caps how many images the AI picks when an item in your [catalog has multiple photos attached](https://chatfuel.com/docs/catalog/how-to-attach-photos-to-services-or-products). Setting it to **None** stops the AI from sending product images at all, even if photos are uploaded.

## When Fuely AI shows images [#when-fuely-ai-shows-images]

Choose the moment the AI sends product images to customers:

* **Never** — the AI never sends images, regardless of the per-product limit.
* **When products or services are first mentioned** — the AI shares images proactively, as soon as a relevant product or service comes up in the conversation.
* **When asked** — the AI only sends images when the customer explicitly asks to see them.

## Common questions [#common-questions]

**Why does Fuely AI send photos only when a customer asks?** Because **When Fuely AI shows images** is set to **When asked**. Switch it to **When products or services are first mentioned** to have the AI send photos proactively.

**How do I make Fuely AI send photos right away / immediately / automatically?** Set **When Fuely AI shows images** to **When products or services are first mentioned**. The AI will then share images as soon as a product or service comes up, without waiting for the customer to ask.

**How do I stop Fuely AI from sending photos?** Set **When Fuely AI shows images** to **Never**, or set **Images per product** to **None**. Either one keeps the AI from sending product images.

**Why isn't the AI sending product images at all?** Check that **Images per product** is not set to **None**, that **When Fuely AI shows images** is not set to **Never**, and that your catalog items actually have photos uploaded.

## Tips [#tips]

* If your business relies on visuals (beauty, real estate, food), set images to show **when products or services are first mentioned** — customers expect to see what they are buying.
* For text-heavy services (consulting, legal), choose **When asked** so the conversation stays focused.
* These settings only control delivery — they do not generate images. Make sure your catalog items actually have photos uploaded first. See [how to attach photos to catalog items](https://chatfuel.com/docs/catalog/how-to-attach-photos-to-services-or-products).
* Sending fewer photos per product keeps the chat clean and avoids overwhelming the customer. Start with 2–3 and adjust based on feedback.
